Lionel Messi did not under-estimate the importance of Barcelona’s hard-fought 2-1 win at Osasuna.
The Argentine scored two second-half goals to give Tito Vilanova’s men the points after Joseba Llorente had put the Pamplona-based side in front early on.
However, Messi thought it was a valuable victory at a place that teams find it notoriously difficult to go to, as he explained at a post-match Press conference.
“It was a difficult game as it always is in this stadium. We went behind as we usually do here but managed to turn things around and won.
“Luckily we recovered and the goals came. Even so, the important thing is not the goals I scored but the team continuing on this line and winning.
“I just said how difficult it was to win here and I was lucky enough to score,” he added.
