Jose Mourinho admitted after Real Madrid’s first leg Supercopa defeat at Barcelona that there was no room in his squad for Ricky Kaka.
The Brazilian was not selected for the group that travelled to the Camp Nou and reports have subsequently emerged that his former side Milan are back in negotiations for a summer transfer.
Speaking to the Press after watching his Blancos lose 3-2 to Barca, Mourinho commented on leaving the 30-year-old at home.
“I knew I had [Gonzalo] Higuain and [Angel] Di Maria if I need attacking changes during the game,” the Coach stated.
“I then had [Esteban] Granero and Lass [Diarra] for the midfield and two defenders also on the bench, so there was no room for Kaka.”
