Serie A giants lead Mason Greenwood transfer race

Mason Greenwood looks increasingly likely to leave Manchester United this summer when he returns from a loan spell at Getafe.

Getafe head coach Jose Bordalas has indicated the club will make a move to retain Greenwood next season but they are angling for another loan.

Despite his positive performances in the Spanish capital, Getafe are not in a position to pay United’s rumoured €50m asking price, with his Old Trafford contract expiring in 2025.

The 22-year-old will head back to Manchester from Madrid next month and consider his options for next season.

Greenwood’s eight La Liga goals and six assists have caught the eye of teams across Europe and The i claims Juventus are planning a move.

The Turin giants are pushing for force their way back into the Serie A title race next season and Greenwood would bolster their attacking options.

United could be open to reducing their valuation of the England international, if Juventus solidify their interest, with his future in Manchester still uncertain.
