Real Madrid ‘will listen to offers for Isco’

Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for playmaker Isco but the player himself does not want to leave, report Marca.

Last week, Diario AS cited reports from both Tuttosport and The Sun which claimed Juventus are willing to offer €60m to secure a deal for the Spain international.

Zinedine Zidane is thought to be a keen admirer of Isco but equally would not block a transfer should a big-money offer come in from elsewhere, the report adds.

Zidane is also not said to have told the player he has no future at the club, unlike what he has reportedly told Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos and Marcos Llorente.

That report cited former Juve midfielder Andrea Pirlo, who has said: “Juventus need a player like Isco, immediately.”

The 26-year-old had been frozen out of the starting XI by previous Madrid boss Santiago Solari – not starting a match across La Liga or the Champions League under the Frenchman’s predecessor.

Isco has a contract at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2021 but found the net just three times in a mere 11 La Liga starts last season, with his future appearing to be in the balance.

It appears unlikely that the former Malaga playmaker will be a regular in Madrid’s line-up next season hence suggestions that they will listen to offers.
