Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG want Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho

Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen on Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho this summer, report El Mundo Deportivo.

The former Liverpool playmaker has cut a frustrated figure for the Catalan club this season, finding starting opportunities limited at the club and struggling to find consistent form.

The Brazilian only joined the Camp Nou in January 2018 for a deal worth up to €160m but it now appears the Blaugrana are willing to cut their losses on the player.

It is claimed that Europa League winners Chelsea see the Brazilian as a replacement for the outgoing Eden Hazard, who has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

However, Chelsea are under a FIFA-imposed transfer ban until next summer and while they continue to fight this through the courts, it appears unlikely it will be overturned at this juncture.

Manchester United are also said to hold an interest in the 26-year-old but their interest depends on player exits and their failure to qualify for the Champions League also plays a part.

Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be an admirer of the former Inter and Liverpool man but again their financial situation is precarious and may need to make sales before considering big-money moves.
