Marca: Eintracht Frankfurt want Mariano Diaz as part of Luka Jovic deal

Eintracht Frankfurt want to bring in Mariano Diaz on loan from Real Madrid as part of the deal that takes Luka Jovic to the Santiago Bernabeu according to reports in Marca this morning.

The Spanish newspaper is one of a number of media outlets reporting that Los Blancos have already agreed a deal to bring the Serbian international to the Spanish capital – but now they are reportedly looking to amend the deal.

The German side have a pre-agreed purchase option on Jovic, as part of his loan deal from Benfica, and the are expected to exercise that and then sell him on for an increased profit – however they are yet to confirm an official bid.

Diaz, has fallen out of favour at Real Madrid after returning from a loan spell with Lyon in 2017-18, and manager Zinedine Zidane is happy for him to leave for a fee of around €20m.

However if he was to be included in the Jovic deal, even as a loan, that could drive down the 21-year old hot shot's price – something which Eintracht would prefer not to do.
