Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez is hopeful on a call-up to the Spain national team: “It would be a dream come true.”
The 25-year-old has never been capped for La Roja, with his only international recognition coming with two Spain Under-21 caps in 2014.
The 25-year-old has netted ten Premier League goals for the Magpies this campaign and has two years remaining on his contract, having moved to England from Tenerife five years ago.
“It would be a dream come true,” Perez told Radio Marca, when asked about the possibility of a call-up to the Spanish national team.
“I have never given up hope on it and it is something which has been in the back of my thoughts but never going away, I want to make Luis Enrique think about me.”
