Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot: All reports are inaccurate

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has hit out at ‘inaccurate’ reports about his future and he will ‘speak when needed’.

The 23-year-old is out of contract at the French champions in June and has been linked with several top European clubs, including a move to Barcelona.

Reports have suggested PSG raised their offer to the central midfielder of €7m plus bonuses up to a sum of €9m plus bonuses, yet this was still rejected.

“I do not want to speak publicly,” Rabiot told Canal+, in quotes carried by ESPN FC.

“I will do so when I want to. Everything that is being said about me is inaccurate and I will speak when needed.”

The Frenchman’s contractual situation has led to reports he could leave the French capital in a cut-price deal this January, or for free next summer.

The Catalan giants were strongly linked to Rabiot this summer but instead signed Arthur Melo and Arturo Vidal to replace the outgoing Andres Iniesta and Paulinho.
