Sevilla Coach Pablo Machin has praised the ‘attitude’ of his players despite a two-goal defeat at home to Getafe on Sunday.
Los Rojiblancos are now without a goal in three games and failed to bounce back from their Seville derby defeat as they crashed to defeat at home to Los Azulones.
“I cannot blame my players a lot, they put in a lot of effort but it was one of those days when it was not to be,” Machin is cited as saying by Diario AS.
“All defeats are hard but we were facing a difficult team but the attitude we showed was what I wanted so I cannot be too angry.
“To fall behind against a team like Getafe, who have strikers who play well with their backs to goal, is a bad situation.
“The boos do not affect us, the only thing I have to say to the fans is thank you as many of them stayed to the end and we appreciate that.”
