Atletico Madrid winger Thomas Lemar insists he does not concern himself with the €70m fee involved in his transfer from Monaco.
The France international joined Los Rojiblancos in the summer for a club record fee but he is adamant this does not bring any added pressure.
“The price is just a figure agreed between the club, it has nothing to do with me,” Lemar told an interview with Marca.
“My job is to do my work on the pitch and not to think about anything else, because that is how it is possible to have success.
“Joining the club? It was influenced by talking with Antoine Griezmann and Lucas Hernandez, who told me it would be the perfect club to continue my progress with.
“They really wanted me to join and I believe I have made the right decision.”
