Eusebio Sacristan confessed to being ‘annoyed with the account Girona gave’ towards the end of their 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid.
“I’m most annoyed by the four goals we ended up conceding and the account we gave of ourselves towards the end of the game,” the Coach – who remains winless against Los Blancos – said after the match.
“I leave here with the feeling that in the end, we were very submissive and weren’t able to recover from what happened to us during the 90 minutes.
“There were several phases of the game in which we showed our potential, and I’m happy for that, but we still need to work on many things.
“The psychological aspect of their two penalties also took its toll and we didn’t know how to overcome it.”
