Andre Silva on verge of Sevilla move

Sevilla have identified Inter striker Andre Silva as the man to lead their attack after missing out on Michy Batshuayi of Chelsea.

According to Marca, an agreement between the parties has been practically sealed and the player could arrive in the Andalusian capital within a matter of hours to put pen to paper.

Los Rojiblancos are hoping to secure a season-long loan deal for the 22-year-old, who has fallen out of favour at the San Siro, although Milan are thought to be looking to offload him for around €20m

It is also understood Sevilla boss Pablo Machin is in the market for another forward before the transfer market closes for business on August 31.

Silva was a key arrival in the Rossoneri’s €200m transfer spree last summer, arriving from Porto for a reported €38m plus bonuses and signing a contract until 2022.

However, the Portugal international netted just 10 goals and two assists in 40 appearances for the Milan giants – only two of them in Serie A, where he did not open his account until March this year.
