Barca confident on Camp Nou deal

Barcelona are confident of agreeing a deal for the naming rights of their Camp Nou stadium ahead of next summer, according to ESPN FC.

The Catalan giants are hopeful of securing a €300m deal for the rights to be sold over a 20-year period with a vote to be held at next year’s AGM.

The reports states the Blaugrana ‘are in talks with American and Asian companies’ and such investment would be pumped into the redevelopment of the stadium.

The ‘Camp Nou’ would remain at the start of the title under any agreement while the club hope to increase the capacity from the current 99,354 to 105,000 in a €600m project.

The club are also hopeful their separate Johan Cruyff Stadium will be ready for use by 2019, becoming home to their Barca B side and women’s team.
