Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival ensures Juventus are now among the favourites to win the Champions League, according to Jorge Mendes.
The super-agent believes his client’s sensational arrival at the Italian champions will give them renewed hope of landing their first European title this century.
“At Manchester United he was the best in the club’s history,” Mendes told Sky Italia.
“It was the same at Real and it’ll be the same at Juventus. I think Juventus can win the Champions League with Cristiano, because he’s the best in history.”
Earlier in his unveiling press conference, Ronaldo stated: “We can win the Champions League here, we want to win all trophies, but we must remain calm and focused – this club has come very close in recent years.”
