Girona have completed the signing of Honduras international striker Anthony ‘Choco’ Lozano from Barcelona B, it has been confirmed.
The 24-year-old had made 20 league appearances for the Catalans in La Liga 123 this campaign and joins Sergio Gomez (Borussia Dortmund) and Wilfred Kaptoum (Real Betis) in leaving the club this week.
The forward has netted seven international goals in 26 caps for Honduras and previously enjoyed a loan spell at Tenerife, where he scored 20 goals in 67 league outings.
Having also previously enjoyed a stint in Valencia’s B team, Lozano will add to Girona’s attacking options for the second half of the campaign.
