Striker Gerard Moreno has agreed a two-year extension to his contract at Espanyol, according to reports in Spain.
The 25-year-old joined the Catalan club in 2015 for €1.5m from Villarreal, who still retain 50% of his ownership rights, which are said to continue after this new deal which will extend his agreement until 2022.
Diario AS cites a report in Esports Cope which states Los Periquitos have agreed the deal, which is expected to be confirmed soon.
“I see myself here for many years, because this is my home and I’m happy here,” Moreno is quoted as saying by AS from last month.
Moreno has netted 24 La Liga goals since his move to the RCDE Stadium including four in 10 outings this season.
