Sebastien Corchia has signed a four-year contract with Sevilla after signing from French outfit Lille in a deal said to be worth €7.5m.
The deal has been completed for the 26-year-old in order for him to form part of Los Rojiblancos pre-season tour of Japan, which departs Spain on Thursday afternoon.
He becomes the club’s fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Ever Banega, Guido Pizarro and Luis Muriel.
The signing follows on from news that Turkish side Galatasaray have lodged a deal for the Andalucians full-back Mariano, and the French defender’s arrival could be a direct replacement.
Corchia played all 38 of Lille’s league outings last year, and has been capped by France.
