Eibar Coach Gaizka Garitano has spoken of his satisfaction after seeing his side beat Elche away from home.
The victory is Eibar’s second of the season after an opening round win over Real Sociedad and came by virtue of goals from Dani Garcia and Raul Albentosa, a former Elche player, both netting in the first half.
“I am very satisfied with the work done by my players. From the start we worked very hard and we could have gone into half time with an even greater advantage,” Garitano said, according to AS.
“I’m very happy with the three points we have added.
“We were coming from two consecutive defeats in two games where we deserved more. Elche knew we could play a good game and so it proved.
“Winning here is very difficult because Elche play very well at home.”
