Gareth Bale has fuelled speculation of a move out to Spain by telling the British media of his desire to experience ‘other Leagues and other cultures’.
The Welsh winger has attracted interest in recent seasons for his form with Tottenham Hotspur, with Barcelona and Real Madrid in particular linked with future moves for the 23-year-old.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror this week, the former Southampton youth confirmed that it is speculation that might have a grain of truth.
“It would be nice to experience other Leagues and other cultures,” he reflected this week.
“I have always said I am not afraid to go abroad. If the time comes and a team that is right comes in for me, then I will look at it seriously.
“I will see what happens.”
