Djukic positive after defeat

Real Valladolid boss Miroslav Djukic has praised his side despite their 2-1 defeat to Malaga at La Rodaleda on Saturday.

The 46-year-old Coach was positive about his team after even after Joaquin had scored an 87th minute winner for Manuel Pellegrini's men.

“We did a great job,” he told a Press conference. “We were very disciplined, having not had a lot of the ball, but the truth is, I am very happy.

“We had opportunities against a great team, and have played very well.”

He also commented on the referee, Ignacio Villanueva, who sent off decisively sent off Manucho with 10 minutes remaining.

“I could not say anything to the referee,” he said. “Even if I said 'very good, very good' he would react. When we get to that state, something has gone very wrong.”

The Serbian boss concluded by praising Malaga forward Isco, who scored his team's opener in the first half.

“He is a very good player. The type of player that moves well between the lines.”
