Radamel Falcao has handed Atletico Madrid a boost ahead of their clash with Malaga this weekend by returning to training.
The Colombian has missed his team’s last two matches after sustaining a thigh strain in the 4-2 win away to Real Betis at the end of September.
However, as expected, the striker is back in contention for inclusion in this Sunday’s squad for the home match with Malaga, as he returned to full training yesterday.
Also back to a full workout was Arda Turan, who was forced off with a knock during Atleti’s 1-0 win at Espanyol last weekend.
