Mancini: Aguero could start

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has talked Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli and…Fiat Cinquecentos ahead of the Real Madrid match.

The Italian and his side arrive at the Bernabeu this evening keen to atone for a disappointing Champions League debut last season which culminated in group stage elimination at the hands of Napoli.

“It will be a good game in a great stadium with great players,” Mancio commented at his official press conference. “Its very important to start the group well.

“We want to do better than last year. It will be important to take chances, to defend and attack well.”

The man who was succeeded at Inter by current Real boss Jose Mourinho then discussed Aguero, who has been injured recently but is desperate to feature against the club he rejected last year.

“It's OK, he's feeling good. Not 100 per cent, but he's trained several times and can be a starter.

“We have four strikers and will decide tomorrow who plays,” Mancini responded when queried about Balotelli.

He ended with a peculiar metaphor to describe City's chances of winning the tournament.

“If you have a Ferrari you can win. If you have a Cinquecento, no. We are working to win the Champions League, we don't know when, but it's what we want.”
