Barcelona star Fermin Lopez has remained at the club, despite interest from Chelsea, and interest in a sale from the Blaugrana.

According to MD, Espanyol turned down a number of offers for right-back Omar El Hilali. Como’s offer was highest, of €14m, but Everton and Wolves also presented proposals for him. However Espanyol were demanding his €25m release clause.

It looked as if Atletico Madrid left-back Javi Galan would be on his way out of the club with hours remaining in the transfer window, but Nottingham Forest pulled out of the deal late on.

Atletico Madrid did eventually get the signing of Nicolas Gonzalez over the line from Juventus. He arrives on loan, but it could become an expensive deal for Atletico Madrid.

Silence reigns in Pamplona, as Osasuna wait for the green light to announce Sheraldo Becker. Matteo Moretto reports that a deal for Becker was done before the deadline.

Becker has fallen out of favour at Real Sociedad, and the Txuri-Urdin have been looking for a destination for the pacy forward for much of the summer.

UPDATE: Osasuna have announced the signing of Becker, which appears to be on a free transfer. The 30-year-old has signed a two-year deal with an option for a third.
Fabrizio Romano reported before the deadline that Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon had agreed a loan move to Villarreal. The Yellow Submarine have now announced it, still awaiting La Liga confirmation.

Several players on the fringes of the first teams have left on loan. Girona used Dawda Camara at the weekend, but after the signing of Vladyslav Vanat, he has joined Cadiz on loan for the year.
Levante youngster Paco Cortes heads to Cultural Leonesa on loan, while Valencia winger Sergi Canos will spend the season at Real Valladolid. Another winger, this time Elche’s Rada Nunez is to be an Eldense player this season, while RCD Mallorca’s midfielder Jan Salas will cut his teeth at Cordoba.
We’re getting breaking news, primarily from Diario AS, that Athletic Club may have gotten a deal over the line for Aymeric Laporte in the final moments of the window. The Al-Nassr centre-back has been heavily linked with a return all summer…

Girona have brought back Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil. He has signed a five-year deal, which according to earlier reports, will cost the Catalan side €10m.

Meanwhile the deal for Dominik Livakovic is also over the line. In his case, Livakovic arrives on a season-long loan from Fenerbahce.


Valencia have confirmed the signing of Lucas Beltran on loan for the coming season. The 24-year-old arrives from Fiorentina on loan, after six goals and six assists in 47 appearances last year.
Sevilla have continued their busy end to the transfer window, starting with a contract termination for Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho. Following the arrival of Batista Mendy, Sevilla have announced two more arrivals though.

One of those is Alexis Sanchez, with the Chilean veteran signing on a free from Udinese. The 36-year-old has a one-year deal. Meanwhile 31-year-old Porto defender Fabio Cardoso has also arrived on a free transfer.
Despite being linked with Sevilla earlier in the day, former Manchester United midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has joined rivals Real Betis! The Moroccan international arrives on a year-long loan from Fenerbahce.

Getafe are having a busy end to the transfer window, following the agreement to sell Christantus Uche to Crystal Palace. Wide players Peter Federico and Alex Sola have both moved on, with the former loaned to Real Valladolid for the year, and the latter mutually agreeing to terminate his deal. Sola has since signed for Granada.

The deal for Uche to move is now official, and will take the form of a loan with an option to buy for €20m.

Jose Bordalas does have the arrival of Abu Kamara on loan from Hull City to soften the blow though. The 22-year-old right-winger played 36 times in the Championship last year, scoring five times and giving three assists.
The earlier reported deal for Alemao has been completed. Rayo Vallecano announce the arrival of the 27-year-old striker for €4.5m from Pachuca.

Real Sociedad have agreed a much-rumoured move for Hamari Traore. The veteran right-back returns to Ligue 1 with Paris FC for €4.5m, which sees the 33-year-old leave after two seasons at the Reale Arena.

Servill have reached an agreement for Dodi Lukebakio to leave the club with Benfica. The Belgian international, a key part of their attack since arriving, moves for a reported €22m, following 68 games, three assists and 17 goals.

Valencia defender Alberto Mari has joined Mirandes on loan, but the big news is at the other end of the pitch. Marca say Los Che are close to an agreement for Lucas Beltran to join on loan from Fiorentina with no option to buy.
The consequence is that Nigerian forward Umar Sadiq would not be returning, and thus would be staying at Real Sociedad.

Having sealed deals for Yangel Herrera and Carlos Soler, Diario AS say that Real Sociedad could lose Brais Mendez. The creative midfielder has been linked with a return to Celta Vigo, but he has a major offer from Saudi Arabia that he could accept. The Saudi window continues on beyond the Spanish transfer deadline.
