Real Madrid set sights on big-money transfer target as Bayern Munich pair are discarded

Real Madrid are projected to be extremely busy on the transfer front throughout 2025, and especially so during the summer window. The free agent market will be their best friend, but a big-money addition is also wanted by Florentino Perez.

Diario AS have detailed the roadmap that has been established by Real Madrid. For now, the idea is to target three players that would arrive for free next summer – they are Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alphonso Davies and Jonathan Tah. As things stand, there are no plans to move for Joshua Kimmich, despite the club’s insistence to sign a new midfielder.

Furthermore, the report also confirms that Real Madrid have identified Florian Wirtz as a further top target. The club prefers him to Jamal Musiala, and contacts with Bayer Leverkusen are expected to take place in the build-up to the 2025 summer transfer window.

Next summer looks like being Real Madrid’s biggest transfer window in many years, and judging by the start of this season, these additions will be absolutely necessary if they are to get back on track.
