Barcelona have started to look at life after Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker may still be one of the most prolific goalscorers in Europe, but he is now 36, meaning that his days at the top level will soon be coming to an end.
Szczęsny will sign a one-year deal at Barcelona. It's done. @FabrizioRomano

At this stage, there is no obvious successor to Lewandowski at Barcelona – Vitor Roque had been considered as that, but he does not generate confidence in the club’s sporting department, which is why he was shipped out on loan to Real Betis.
The likes of Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko have been linked to Barcelona in recent weeks, and the latest to take their interest is Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran. According to El Nacional (via Marca), Deco is a big fan of the 20-year-old, and initial contacts have already been made with his representatives.
It would not be cheap for Barcelona to get their hands on Duran, although he’s unlikely to be more expensive that Gyokores or Sesko. Taking this into account, he could be a very shrewd signing as the club’s long-term number nine, especially if he can continue making an impact in the Premier League.
