Barcelona have already had to deal with multiple injury problems during pre-season, with Ronald Araujo, Pedri and Ansu Fati having all been affected. A similar fate has now befallen Dani Rodriguez, who was tipped to be one of the players on the cusp of the first team during the 2024-25 campaign.
Earlier this week, Rodriguez suffered a hamstring injury during a friendly match. Barcelona have confirmed that the teenage winger is set to be out for approximately three months because of this.

Rodriguez – who was to start the season with Barca Atletic – will not undergo surgery to rectify the issue, with conservative treatment being opted for by Barcelona. It means that he should return to action in November, although no risks are sure to be taken during his recovery period.
Barcelona consider Rodriguez to be a top talent, and it surely would not be long until he is challenging in the first team. However, that will be delayed for the time being because of this injury.
