Barcelona are on the verge of confirming their first big signing of the summer, with Dani Olmo signing his contract at the Ciutat Esportiva today. It has been said that his presentation will have to wait until Monday.
The Blaugrana have agreed a €62m deal with RB Leipzig, €7m of which will be dependent on objectives being met. The 26-year-old arrived in the Catalan capital on Tuesday evening with Sporting Director Deco, and was seen taking pictures with his new shirt too.

It looks as if Olmo will be wearing the number 20 shirt this season, with many of Barcelona‘s ‘star numbers’ already taken.

He is expected to sign a six-year deal, and has already bid farewell to his old club, Leipzig, who he thanked on Twitter/X. Omo spent the last four years at Leipzig following his time at Dinamo Zagreb. That was the shirt worn by former captain Sergi Roberto, whose contract expired this summer. Barcelona are still yet to bid farewell to the 32-year-old.
A young club, a young player… We grew up, won our first trophies and made history together.
Two Cups and the Super Cup are just some of the many unforgettable moments that'll always stay with me.
