Real Madrid will be able to sell young striker before transfer window closes

Real Madrid have already sold several young players this summer, such as Rafa Marin, Alex Jimenez and Marvin Park. More are expected to follow in the coming weeks, as club bosses continue to raise funds before the transfer window closes.

One player that’s been strongly linked with a departure is Alvaro Rodriguez. The 20-year-old has struggled to make an impression on the first team over the last 12 months – with Kylian Mbappe and Endrick now at the club, his chances of progression are even slimmer, which is why the decision has been taken to sell him, which will allow him to keep developing.

Real Madrid’s chances to sell Rodriguez took a blow recently when he was forced to leave the pre-season tour of the United States after suffering a severe blow to his ankle. Fortunately, Marca say that the injury is not serious, and he should be recovered before the end of month.

Because of this, Rodriguez’s situation will not be affected, and his chances to be sold by Real Madrid remain high. Several clubs, across La Liga and Segunda, have taken an interest, and there should be movement on the matter soon.
