Sport Recife’s 17-year-old right-back Pedro Lima has already become a start for the Serie B side this year, regularly playing the full match. Lima’s exploits had captured the attention of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as Real Madrid, but Chelsea have made an offer of €8m.

President of Sport Recife Yuri Romao is currently on his way to London to continue negotiations, according to Diario AS. Their plan is for RC Strasbourg, who are under the same ownership, to complete the purchase due to Chelsea’s financial fair play concerns, and presumably he will move ot Chelsea thereafter.

Lima’s skillset is impressive, and his seamless adaptation to senior football at the age of just 17 is equally so. Real Madrid are likely to be looking for an eventual successor to Dani Carvajal in the coming seasons, although academy right-back Jesus Fortea is as highly rated as any in the club’s academy. Fortea is just a few months younger than Lima, and it may be that Los Blancos did not feel it necessary to move for him as a result.

    1. Hello illiterate mongoloid

Surely thats your own club you are talking about, in your delirious mentally ill rave. If Real wants something we get it. Like ones that didn’t want to joint your club, Endrick, Vini, Mbappe, Camavinga, Tchouameni. You know actual stars.

      HAHA!
