Barcelona star open to making Premier League move, Saudi offers would be turned down

Barcelona need to make significant sales in the summer if they are to ease their financial burdens going into next season. A number of candidates have emerged, one of those being Raphinha, who’s considered to be somewhat expendable because of Lamine Yamal’s emergence.

The problem for Barcelona is that Raphinha has shown no signs of wanting to leave, although that could have now changed. MD have reported that the Brazilian’s first choice is to remain in Catalonia, although he would consider a return to the Premier League, where he previously played with Leeds United.

The likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have been linked with Raphinha in recent months, and this could be impetus for them to make a move during the summer transfer window.

Barcelona know that they would be able to command a large fee from Saudi Arabia, although Raphinha has no intention of heading to the Middle East, so that option is completely closed off for now. It remains to be seen whether a move back to England is in his future.
