Real Madrid TV given green light from club hierarchy to prepare material on all La Liga referees

Real Madrid TV have never been such a talking point in its decades of existence, but their hit pieces on referees have caused a stir in Spanish football this season. They show no intention of letting up.

Some of these attacks on officials for percevied bias against Los Blancos had occurred before this season, but they have become a feature of every week this season. New information from El Periodico, as carried by Sport, say that Real Madrid feel this public pressuring of referees is a proportionate response to the corruption investigation into Barcelona for their payments to former Vice-President of the Referees Committee Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira.

According their sources from within the channel, the hierarchy at Real Madrid have given the order to Real Madrid TV to prepare material on all of the referees in La Liga, rather than just a week at a time when they are awarded officials. The permission to do so came with the blessing of President Florentino Perez.

Sevilla have submitted official complaints on the matter, and other sides within La Liga have taken umbridge to these videos, but with Real Madrid TV technically a separate entity from the club itself, it appears there will be little done to prevent or stop these videos to coming out.
