Journalist claims that Carlo Ancelotti has already agreed to take Brazil job next summer

Carlo Ancelotti’s future has been the subject of much speculation over the course of 2023, but especially so in the last few weeks. The Italian has been heavily linked with the Brazil job, although recent reports have suggested that he is closer to signing a new contract with Real Madrid.

However, reports in Brazil have suggested that Ancelotti has already agreed his next move, and that will be to leave to leave Los Blancos in favour of heading to South America. Journalist Andre Rizek of “SporTV” has claimed (via MD) that Ancelotti has an agreement with the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) to take over the Brazil job from next summer.

“For the CBF, nothing has changed. The CBF understands that it has legal guarantees that Ancelotti will be the coach of Brazil from June next year and that he will not change his mind. Plan A, B and C is Carlo Ancelotti, and the CBF understands that there is nothing on the world stage that will make him change his mind because he is interested in taking charge of the national team and that it will probably be the last job of his life.”

It remains to be seen where Ancelotti is managing next summer. Real Madrid look to be keen on retaining his services, but whether he himself decides to stay in the Spanish capital remains to be seen.
