Barcelona have made up their mind to sell star if all goes to plan

Barcelona are likely to search for sales again next summer, with their salary limit still tight around their wallets for next season. This season the likes of Ez Abde and Nico Gonzalez were sold this summer, while Sergino Dest, Eric Garcia, Clement Lenglet, Pablo Torre and Ansu Fati all left on loan too – some of which the Blaugrana will want to sell.

After Barcelona President Joan Laporta claimed that they had the chance to sell Frenkie de Jong for €100m, a recent report explained that the Blaugrana had also discussed the potential sales of Gavi and Pedri.

However, they came to the conclusion that the pair are untouchable, and they will do what they can to hold onto the young duo. That was once a stance they occupied on Ansu Fati, but as the Spanish international struggles to find that golden touch again, Fati is no longer in their plans.

Sport claim that Barcelona have made their mind up to sell Fati next summer, provided he comes good at Brighton in the Premier League, cashing in on him.

There is no plan given if Ansu does not find his form, and thus is no longer commanding a good market value, which could still see him return to the Blaugrana.

Recently Saudi Arabia were linked with a move for him next summer, but so far without the blessing of player. Fati has a contract until 2027 at Barcelona, and on high wages too. The Blaugrana may find that Fati hangs on at the club, as he looks to prove himself.
