Barcelona prepared to accept €10m in order to get out of favour defender off the books

Barcelona have already been very active in the transfer market so far this summer, and they are showing no signs of slowing down. They have already agreed to sign three players, including Ilkay Gundogan, with more on the way.

However, before any new signings can be registered with LaLiga, they must sell existing players, which they have been looking to do, although without much success so far.

Samuel Umtiti and Clement Lenglet are among those to have been transfer-listed by Barcelona, and Sport have now reported that they have put an asking price of €10m on the latter, who has been linked with a permanent return to Tottenham Hotspur.

Barcelona and Spurs have been in negotiations for Lenglet, although an offer of €5m is all that has been received so far. As such, talks have cooled over the last few days, but they could be resurrected in the near future.

Barcelona are desperate to move on Lenglet as he is a very high earner, as well as having no future at the club. It remains to be seen whether anyone matches their asking price.
