Atletico Madrid are preparing for the short trip across Madrid to face Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night, with an almost fully fit squad.
As per MD, Atletico Madrid will be without two players for the match. Reinildo Mandava is out long-term with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, while Memphis Depay is yet to recover from his injury acquired on international duty in March. He might be back for the following week against Almeria.
However Angel Correa, who scored the winner against Real Betis late on last Sunday, may also return to the bench. He missed training on Thursday for personal reasons, with Alvaro Morata up front alongside Antoine Griezmann instead. It appears as if they will start against Rayo, although Correa is due to be available for the match.
Atletico Madrid are the form team in La Liga currently, having won six of their last seven matches, the only blip being a 1-1 draw away to Real Madrid. Rayo Vallecano meanwhile are winless in seven, and are desperately hoping to arrest their slide.
