Athletic Club players were left furious last nigth after what they thought was a remarkable equaliser in the final five minutes against Barcelona was ruled out. Their indignation was apparent on the pitch, and it didn’t take long to manifest itself off the pitch either.
Los Leones had been applying severe pressure to the Barcelona goal in the final 15 minutes of the match, when Inaki Williams raced clear of the defence from a Gorka Guruzeta pass. He finished past Marc-Andre ter Stegen, but the goal was brought back after Iker Muniain handled the ball.
After the match, Williams tweeted out simply ‘hahahahahahaha’.

Meanwhile Raul Garcia also took to social media to make his thoughts clear, posting simply a confused emoji on a black background on his Instagram story.

Cleverly, while making their feelings clear, neither seem likely to face action. There is enough ambiguity in their posts to plausibly deny it was regarding the referees, and neither did they actually criticise Jesus Gil Manzano – everyone is aware of the sentiment.
¡NO SE LO CREE MUNIAIN! 🔥

This of course adds to the hysteria and stormy atmosphere created by El Caso Negreira, with Athletic fans protesting during the match last night.
“hysteria”
Funny choice of words, worthy of an impartial journalist.
Match fixing isnt problematic to some people?
