Zlatan Ibrahimovic has decided to extend his contract with Milan until the summer of 2023 according to Fabrizio Romano. The Swedish striker helped the Italian giants win the Scudetto last season and is determined to have another crack at things despite suffering a knee injury that will keep him out for six months.
Zlatan is now 40 years of age and yet the way he’s looking after his body means that he can continue to compete amongst the elite of the elite. He’ll accept a lower salary in his new deal and will be determined to help Milan retain the Scudetto and try to push deeper in the Champions League.
Zlatan has had an amazing, well-travelled career that’s seen him represent Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Internazionale, Barcelona, Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, LA Galaxy and Milan again. The one trophy that’s eluded him, however, is the most prestigious of all – the Champions League.
