Erling Haaland’s future isn’t clear just yet.
The Borussia Dortmund striker has rejected an offer worth €28m per season from Manchester City according to Diario Sport.
The Premier League side could raise their offer but both Barcelona and Real Madrid are also watching the situation intently. It’s understood Haaland is seduced by the idea of playing in La Liga.
City have been tracking Haaland for months and while they don’t lack the financial muscle to finance the deal there does seem to be a certain discrepancy over the Norwegian’s contract details.
It’s thought that money isn’t the issue; Haaland would accept a lower wage if it meant he could become part of an attractive sporting project. Barcelona would fit this category.
Haaland, like Dortmund, wants his future to be closed by the end of April. There’s no doubt that he’s leaving Dortmund; the only issue is where he’s off to.
We don’t need you Haaland, we have Julian Alvarez. Go to Spain, we don’t want money grabbing mercenaries at City.
We want people who want to play for us, if you turn us down I hope we walk away.
@Cityblue
Coming from a city fun is laughable!! All your players are however money grabbing mercenaries anyways😂😂😂
Barcelona dont have the money, its pretty ridiculous to link Haaland to them as he expects to be paid in money, not iou-paper notes.
