Sergio Ramos close to returning for Paris Saint-Germain but facing an uncertain future

Sergio Ramos is close to returning for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Andalusian defender has endured an injury-hit campaign but is in line to face Lorient this weekend according to Diario AS.

Ramos, who joined PSG from Real Madrid on a free transfer during the summer after 16 seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, has completed two weeks of training sessions without problems.

Ramos hasn’t played since January 23rd due to injury and missed both legs of PSG’s Champions League defeat to Madrid.

Things just haven’t worked out for the man from Camas in the French capital and his future at the Parc des Princes is uncertain.

Ramos has played just five games this season, none of which in the Champions League. He has nine games left this season to prove he can still compete at the highest level.

Otherwise, one would imagine, his future could be in question.

PSG are planning big changes this summer and Ramos may be forced to seek pastures new amid a potential shake-up.
