Romeo Beckham posted a picture with Lionel Messi on his Instagram on Tuesday evening, with the post quickly going viral on account of Messi’s bold outfit choice.
The 19-year-old son of former footballer David Beckham and model Victoria Beckham is in Paris with his parents, attending Paris fashion week. An event that attracts the rich and famous from across the globe.
Romeo, who is pursuing a professional football career with his father’s MLS franchise Inter Miami, didn’t miss the chance to cross paths with Messi. He also posted pictures alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr. Beckham senior also spent time at PSG back in 2013, facing off against Messi in a 2013 Champions League tie.
It didn’t take long for social media to pick up on the deep red tracksuit that the Argentine chose for the occasion, with a large dose of leopard print involved.
Messi has struggled to settle in the opening months of his time in Paris, largely due to fitness issues. Recently however, he became the leading assister in Ligue 1 and will look to secure safe passage for PSG to next round of the Champions League. Familiar foe Real Madrid await him on the 9th of March.
