Barcelona president Joan Laporta is said to have improved his offer to Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.
Christensen is expected to arrive at Camp Nou on a free transfer this summer, with his Chelsea contract set to expire.
The centre-back is a talented player, but amid world-class experience at Stamford Bridge, he has fallen down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel.
That means he is very likely to walk away at the end of his contract, and Barca are primed to snap him up.
According to numerous reports, offers have already been submitted, with Barca already able to enter discussions.
And Sport report Laporta has now improved Barca’s offer with an increased wage and an extra year.
The report claims Christensen has now been offered a five-year contract having previously been offered a four-year deal.
The Blaugrana will be hoping that is enough to get the deal over the line well ahead of the summer.
