Barcelona star Ferran Torres is back at home ahead of his expected move to Camp Nou.
Barca are expected to complete their signing of the Manchester City winger early this week, and perhaps as early as today.
As Pep Guardiola detailed last week, a deal has been reached between Barca and City, with Torres keen to return to Spain.
Barcelona will still need reduce their salary bill to register Torres with La Liga, but they are free to sign the Spain international in business terms.
And it seems the deal is indeed close to being completed, with Torres already back in his hometown Valencia.
The forward posted a video of himself training in Valencia, saying: “Getting ready at home… Valéncia (Rocket emoji) Here We Go!”
Of course, ‘here we go’ is a transfer reference linked to Fabrizio Romano, and it’s pretty clear Torres is relating to an upcoming transfer.
This deal is all-but done, but Barcelona must find a way to offload players if they want to be able to field Torres come the start of the new year.
