Real Madrid handed fitness boost ahead of Osasuna clash

Real Madrid have been handed a fitness boost ahead of their clash with Osasuna.

Los Blancos welcome the in-form Pamplona side to the Santiago Bernabeu this evening as they look to build on their Clásico success.

Goals from David Alaba and Lucas Vazquez saw Carlo Ancelotti‘s men see off Barcelona at Camp Nou last time out.

But they now face a different test in the form of old rivals Osasuna, who are unbeaten in four, winning five of their last six games.

Ahead of the game, Real Madrid have been given an injury boost in the form of back-up striker Luka Jovic.

Jovic has missed the last three games with a knock, but he returned to full training and came through the last session before the Osasuna clash, on Tuesday night, unscathed.

The Serbian frontman is in the squad to face Osasuna, and he could play a part given the quick turnaround and the high demands on veteran striker Karim Benzema.
