Sergio Ramos finally braced for PSG debut after months out injured

Former Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos could finally make his debut for PSG after months out.

Ramos joined PSG on a free transfer during the summer after his contract at Real Madrid was allowed to expire.

The experienced defender was offered a new deal at the Santiago Bernabeu, but Ramos was hesitant.

In the end, the centre-back decided to accept the offer, but he was told it was too late and was sent on his way.

PSG quickly snapped him up, but the French giants haven’t seen the benefit of the transfer just yet.

Ramos, who missed well over 30 games with injury last season, has missed the first three months or so of this campaign through injury.

Though, according to Le Parisien via Diario AS, Ramos will return to group training today (Tuesday) and could be in contention to play against Lille on Friday.

Given the amount of time Ramos has missed, it’s unlikely he can start against Lille, but he could play some part if all goes well, and it would also be his home debut with the clash taking place at Parc des Princes.
