Barcelona star suffers injury relapse
Today’s Barcelona news focus on the fresh injury setback for Sergi Roberto with Marca claiming his injury is a relapse from the one that caused him to miss two months of action.
The versatile player had only just returned to first-team action following the layoff but he suffered a recurrence of the injury in Wednesday’s win over Granada.
Belgium boss backs Hazard
Real Madrid news is currently being dominated by a fresh injury being sustained by Eden Hazard in training this week, but Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has offered him support.
Martinez told Het Laatste Nieuws, in quotes carried by Diario AS: “It has to do with a lot of bad luck, but we have to stop being overwhelmingly negative. I have the feeling that Eden will be fine when he returns from this injury.”
Suarez neighbours with Real Madrid star
The story of La Liga this season is Atletico Madrid’s great form helped by their summer signing Luis Suarez and he has explained how Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is his new neighbour.
Suarez told Onda Cero’s ‘ El Transistor, as per Marca: “I have Toni Kroos as a neighbour, he is the one I have seen the most in the urbanisation. They (the public) stop me and talk to me more here than in Barcelona, but it is not something that I dislike.”
