Barcelona’s rising teenage star Ansu Fati has been ruled out of the squad to face Alaves this weekend.
The Catalan giants host Asier Garitano’s side at the Camp Nou, in their final La Liga game of 2019, following the midweek goalless draw at home to Real Madrid.
Fati came off the bench against Zinedine Zidane’s side, however he has not been included in the 20-man squad after suffering a hip injury in El Clasico.
Manager Ernesto Valverde has included veteran midfielder Sergio Busquets for the game, after he recovered from a virus that forced a last minute withdrawal from the starting eleven against Los Blancos.
However, Brazilian international Arthur Melo remains sidelined thorough injury, with Valverde confident of having the former Gremio player back in action in January.
