ESPN: Luis Enrique not interested in Arsenal job

Former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique is not considering a potential move to Arsenal, according to reports in ESPN.

Enrique has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium to replace under pressure Gunners boss Unai Emery in recent days, however sources close to the former Spanish international claim he is not looking at a return to management.

Enrique left his post in charge of La Roja earlier this year, following the tragic passing of his young daughter, and is not yet looking to come back to football.

The report also claims that Arsenal are not looking to sack former Paris Saint-Germain boss Emery, despite recent criticism of him and Arsenal's results, and they will look to reassess his position in the summer.

Enrique could then return as an option for the Premier League side, if he is allowed the freedom to build his own squad.
