Brahim Diaz set for Real Madrid loan move

Real Madrid have reportedly performed a U-Turn on loaning out Brahim Diaz in January.

Zinedine Zidane stated in the summer that there had been interest in the former Manchester City winger from other teams in La Liga.

However the French manager wanted to keep hold of 20-year old, to offer back up his first team squad.

Diaz initially agreed to this deal, but according to reports in Marca this morning, he has since grown frustrated after not playing a minute of first team football this season, and wants to move on.

Real Madrid are open to loan offers, with Zidane keen to retain the future option of using him.

Another player that could be on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu in the winter market, is Brahim's namesake, Mariano.

Mariano Diaz returned to the club in 2018, after the exercised their buy back option on him, following an excellent season with Lyon.

However the Dominican Republic international has also not played this season, and is repeatedly attracting interest from clubs in Spain and France, with Real Madrid hopeful of a permanent move.
