Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard misses Real Mallorca clash following the birth of his child

Eden Hazard has been removed from the Real Madrid squad to face Real Mallorca tonight, following the birth of his fourth child.

Zinedine Zidane confirmed the decision in his weekend press conference, with Mariano Diaz stepping in to replace him for the trip to the Balearic Islands,

The La Liga leaders are struggling with injuries ahead of the game, with Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Lucas Vazquez and Dani Carvajal all ruled out in recent days.

Zidane is likely to give some of his squad players game time, ahead of their Champions League tie against Turkish side Galatasary in midweek.
