Dani Carvajal calls on Real Madrid to improve

Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has demanded improvement from his teammates following their 4-2 win over Granada.

The victory puts Zinedine Zidane' side four points clear at the top of La Liga, but late goals from Darwin Machis and Domingos Duarte, set up a tense end to the game for the hosts.

Real Madrid have conceded four goals in their last two games, and Spanish international said this needs to change if they are to be successful this season.

"We should not be in this type of situation in games.

"We were leading 3-0 at home, and they we let that go.

"This is something that we need to change urgently as we continue this season.

"We have our objectives for the season, and we must work harder and concentrate more in games."

Zidane is currently battling any injury crisis, with six players sidelined through injury, including defenders Marcelo, Nacho Fernandez and Ferland Mendy, and Carvajal confirmed he has discussed this with Zidane.

"The manager has talked about the injuries with me.

"We have injuries in all areas of the team at the moment.

"This will mean changes in position.

"But I am prepared to play where I am needed."
